Mixing, Application & Calibration

While mixing a spray, you triple-rinse (or pressure-rinse) an empty pesticide container. What should you do with the rinse water (rinsate) from that container?

• Pour it down the nearest sink or floor drain
• Let it evaporate on the ground next to the mixing area
• Pour it into the spray tank as part of the mixture you are preparing ✓
• Seal it in the empty container and discard the whole thing as hazardous waste
